Drawing on my lived experience of CPTSD and more than two decades developing and delivering writing‑for‑wellbeing programmes, I create safe, supportive workshops. Sessions are trauma‑informed and culturally responsive, centering care at every step.

• Your writing deserves to thrive, creatively and sustainably. I offer one‑to‑one mentoring for writers of short stories, novels, and life writing who want to deepen their craft and build a writing career.

• I bring 25 years’ experience in the charity and arts sectors, Institute of Fundraising qualification, and a track record of securing £5 million in grants annually for community groups, charities, and artists. As founder of Raising Communities Limited and Sharp Raiser Limited, I help organisations and artists access funding and design credible, culturally grounded projects that change lives.

Accessibility & Safeguarding

All sessions embed safeguarding, confidentiality, and participant choice. Workshops can be adapted for mobility, sensory, or language needs. If you’re commissioning for your organisation, I’ll work with you to co‑design risk assessments and inclusion practices that honour your community.

Safeguarding Training for Social Care Teams 
​and Community Groups

I bring a first-class degree in Social Policy, where I specialised in Children and Families Social Work Practice and Children’s Rights, alongside 25 years’ experience working in social care teams and children and families charities. I have trained social workers and volunteers extensively, embedding safeguarding principles in practice.

Using Sky City, Fire Rush, and The Ice Migration as creative tools, I deliver safeguarding training that goes beyond compliance. These sessions combine policy knowledge with cultural responsiveness and safe-space practice, using storytelling to engage participants and deepen understanding.​​
